About the Puzzles

Part NYT Mini, part diagramless, part something else. These puzzles are made up of small grids: 4x4, 5x3, 5x4, etc. Across and Down clues are provided, but there are a couple of twists.
  1. First, the clues are in a random order relative to the puzzle. It's your job to figure out where the answers live in the grid.
  2. Second, you will notice that some clues are missing. Typically two clues are missing, but any un-clued words are related in some way. For example, they may be opposites of each other, make up an idiomatic expression, or be part of a conjunctive phrase. Un-clued words may be either across or down.
